We have found that when EZ-ACH is installed on Windows 2000
and Windows XP, it applies administrator settings to the Windows Registry entry
for EZ-ACH.
For both XP and 2000, you will need to be in the 32-bit registry editor. To
access this, click Start, Run. Type "regedt32" in the window that
opens and press the Enter key.
Windows XP
- Open the 32-bit registry editor.
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE|SOFTWARE|APC|EZ-ACH, right click on the
EZ-ACH folder and select "permissions".
- If your user is listed, click the Advanced button, select the user by
clicking on the name once, and select Edit. Then give the user Full Control.
- If your user is not listed, click Advanced, Find Now. Select the user,
click OK. Give the user full control, apply the changes and click OK.
Windows 2000
- Open the 32-bit registry editor.
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE|SOFTWARE|APC|EZ-ACH.
- Click on the EZ-ACH folder once to highlight it, then click the Security
menu option, then Permissions.
- If your user is listed, click the Advanced button, select the user by
clicking on the name once, and select Edit. Then give the user Full Control.
